How the Bands Compete
Phase 1 A full 20% of scoring comes from online voting - the ratings you receive on your competition page - online voting will begin daily for a 2 week period in July each year; you will be notified of the dates
So, let all of your fans know about your Battle of the Bands entry, and tell them they can caste a new vote for you daily through the rating system on your page.
We also strongly recommend that you put a link to your page on Myspace or Facebook and anywhere else you have a presence on the web. Ask your fans to do the same.
To increase chances of winning, we also suggest poster. Print out copies, add the name of your band, and then post it for all your fans to see.
Don't forget to mention online voting at gigs you may play. Voting will begin daily for a 2 week period in July each year; you will be notified of the dates.
We can add your calendar events to our calendar events for people to check you at other venues. Just send us all the times and dates of your event.
