Thirtynine

Bio: Thirtynine is a contemporary Christian Rock/Alternative band from Boise, Idaho. It was created by some of the members of the worship band from the Boise First Church of the Nazarene. Over the years they have developed and grown in their musical talents and relationships with God and each other. Three of the members, Dylan Olson (Lead vocals/guitar), Patrick Medina (Lead guitar), and the drummer, Brian Gibson have had some previous performance experience with other bands as well as making music with each other. Arielle Heinonen (keys) is also from the Boise First Church of the Nazarene and Brice Broussard (bass) plays in the worship band for the Holy Apostles Catholic Church. They chose the name Thirtynine, because it symbolizes how God washes away our sins and gives us a clean slate.

Lead singer Dylan Olson, although only 17 years old, has felt God's mercy and love in his own experience in overcoming drugs and alcohol, and in that sense has a real connection with the name Thirtynine. Although they have not been playing together all that long, they already have a great understanding of each other's musical capabilities and are confident in their leadership qualities and cooperative attitudes and that their talents will provide for them new opportunities. The songs featured on this profile were personally recorded by the band members themselves in the basement of their own Brian Gibson.
